This notice explains how Petal House handles information when you browse this example website, use its demonstration features, or otherwise interact with the service.

Depending on how you use the site, we collect:

• Authentication details associated with restricted administrator access, including sign-in activity.
• Technical details needed to operate and secure the service, including session identifiers, IP address and user agent associated with authentication, preference choices, and error or security events.
• With optional-cookie consent, the page path, time, browser user agent, and a pseudonymous visitor identifier for each recorded storefront view.

Please do not include sensitive personal information in gift messages, event notes, or other free-text fields.

We use information to:

• Protect restricted administrator access.
• Remember privacy choices and maintain the shopping cart.
• Diagnose reliability, prevent abuse, and improve the storefront when you allow optional analytics.
• Meet legal, accounting, and security obligations.

This example website does not collect card details, process payments, or place orders. Payment processing will be configured separately for an official client website.

Customer account, newsletter, event registration, email preference, and checkout forms are non-submitting demonstrations. They do not save or transmit information entered into their displayed fields.

The site uses essential administrator authentication cookies, a one-year HTTP-only petal_house_visitor_id cookie that links this browser to its stored privacy choice, and local browser storage for the cart and a fallback copy of that choice. These features support sign-in, checkout, security, and remembering your selection.

Storefront page views are recorded only after you choose “Allow all.” Choosing “Essential only” prevents future optional page-view records. You can change your selection at any time.

We share information only as needed with service providers that operate the website, database, authentication, and communications. This includes Google when you choose Google sign-in.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the service, in connection with a business transaction, or at your direction. We do not sell personal information through this website.

We keep information only while it is reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including order fulfillment, account administration, fraud prevention, business records, disputes, and legal obligations. Retention varies by record type. When information is no longer needed, it should be deleted, de-identified, or securely isolated.

We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect the information in our care, including restricted administrator access, multi-factor authentication, secure cookies, request validation, and encrypted transport. No online system can guarantee absolute security.
